Lainey smiling outdoors in front of blurred columns and greenery

Lainey Stevens

Project Manager

Lainey is a KC native, storyteller, and dog magnet.

Lainey grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where her Midwest roots and sense of community run deep. A devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, she carries her hometown pride wherever she goes. After earning her degree from the University of Missouri, she swapped barbecue for deep-dish and made the move to Chicago, where she joined Rule29.

As a Project Manager, Lainey thrives in the space where strategy meets storytelling. She has a natural talent for connecting with people, uncovering what makes audiences tick, and transforming ideas into meaningful experiences. Her sharp attention to detail and endless curiosity drive her to approach every challenge with thoughtfulness and creativity.

Lainey’s curiosity extends to the world around her. She loves discovering new places, spending time with friends who inspire her, and getting lost in a great book. And wherever she goes, you can count on her to find (and befriend) the nearest dog.
